Maniava waterfall is the highest waterfall in the Carpathians and is located on the Maniavka river, Gorgany mountain ridge (Bohorodchany district, Ivano-Frankivsk region). Hydrological natural monument of local importance, belongs to Solotvyno State-Owned Forestry.
One of the highest waterfalls in the Ukrainian Carpathians – 18 metres (60 ft) high, located in a little gorge. Manyavka water gap near the waterfall looks like a canyon that is approximately 200 metres (660 ft) long with rocks up to 20 metres (66 ft) high. There are some rapids downstream, up to 2 m (6 ft) high.
