This man-made waterfall is located in the Pokol district (between the Lysa Hora and Korchuvate) in one of Kyiv industrial areas, on the right bank of the Dnieper. The waterfall was built in 1970 on the cooling canal of the TTP (Thermal Power Plant-5) and runs from the north to the south. The length of the canal’s open stream is about 2 km (1.2 miles). The canal ends with two dams and the actual waterfall.
