Kamyane selo (literally: Stone Village) is a geological reserve of 15 hectares (37 acres), situated in the woods on the territory of Zamyslovetske forestry. Also known as the Ukrainian Stonehenge. It is a cluster of large boulders covered with moss, formed in the middle of the forest.
This landmark is associated with numerous legends. According to one of them, Prince Igor was executed here, the other legend says that in ancient times there was a real village that suddenly turned into stones when its inhabitants insulted God. Many stones really resemble houses, there is also a “school” and even a “church”.
