Zacharovana Dolyna (translated as Enchanted Valley) is a picturesque place with original stone formations, located on the southern slope of the Velyky Dil ridge in Zakarpattya region. Rocks from 20 to 100 metres (66 to 328 ft) high, naturally formed by secondary quartzite, have been impacted by weathering processes and transformed eventually to mystically shaped massive sculptures. There is also a petrified waterfall (hardened lava). On the right bank of the river is a cave with mineral water. Vegetation is formed by a beech forest with Norway spruce.
It covers an area of 150 hectares (370 acres) within Protected Area (National Natural Reserve) Zacharovanyj Kraj.
